HR Practitioner & Payroll Administrator | Manufacturing (Philippi - CPT)

SUMMARY:
An opportunity has become available at a Market Leader Masonry Manufacturer for an HR Practitioner with a solid background in Payroll Administration.

POSITION INFO:

Join this management team to contribute with your expertise and enhance all HR & Payroll functions for the organization.

Minimum Requirements:

• Human Resources Management Related Degree/National Diploma/Relevant Qualification
• 3- 5 years’ experience within a similar HR & Payroll focussed role preferably within a manufacturing and unionised environment
• Experience in implementation of culture building interventions (advantageous)
• Experience in compiling and submitting of statutory reports (Workplace skills, Annual Training, Equity etc.)
• Must have strong knowledge of Industrial Relations, Remuneration & Employee Benefits
• Pastel or VIP experience (advantageous)
• Time and Attendance (Eco-Time TNA) experience (advantageous)
• Strong administration experience and knowledge of PAYE, UIF & COIDA
• MS Office (Excel – Intermediate to Advanced)
• Speaking and understanding of isiXhosa (advantageous)
• Must have own vehicle and valid driver’s license

Key Performance Areas will entail:

• Payroll processing and management of the Time and Attendance system
• Recruitment, selection and on-boarding of new employees
• Providing of effective and efficient IR advice, support & administration within set guidelines and deadlines
• Implementing of employment equity and diversity management
• Promoting and management of Performance Management
• Measuring HR efficiencies and preparing of relevant HR reports
• Effective management of time and attendance, payroll, personnel administration and maintenance of the HR management information system
• Development of effective relationship within the business, to promote sound employee relations across the organisation
• Drive and oversee all employee relation initiatives
