HR/Payroll Administrator

A leading furniture manufacturer situated in the South of Johannesburg is seeking to employ a HR/Payroll Administrator

Overview:

Ensuring that all employees within a Company are paid in an accurate and timely fashion.

Skills and Experience:

• Grade 12
• Diploma/degree in HR
• Payroll qualification
• Payroll systems experience (VIP Premier specifically)
• Other technical expertise
• Compliance knowledge
• Leadership qualities
• Excellent soft skills
• Business acumen

Key Performance Areas (KPA's)

Weekly tasks

• Process weekly wages (collecting clocking records, process on VIP, transfer and issue payslips)
• Prepare and present weekly wages/other reports as required

Annual tasks

• Assist with the info needed for WSP / EE / BBBEE reports

General/Ad-hoc

• Take on new employees, from following the appointment process to loading new employees on all required systems
• Ensure that all employee records are in order and kept up to date
• Assist with new appointments/wage queries
• Assist outside third parties with queries/infor as and when required
• Assist the HR Manage/Supervisors/HOD with basic disciplinary matters/queries
• Assist with WCA/IOD reporting
• Ensure all systems are backed-up as required
• Assist with Health and Safety meetings, reporting and collecting of info
• Perform any reasonable task, as and when required, in line with the position and/or knowledge and experience
