POSITION INFO:
Our client, a reputable shipyard company, is seeking a skilled HSE Officer (Fire Prevention) to join their team for a two-year contract in Qatar.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Certification in Fire Safety, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field.
• Certified Firefighter/Fire Safety Officer with HSE training (NEBOSH/IOSH is an advantage).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in firefighting, fire prevention, and HSE in industrial, offshore, or shipyard settings.
• Strong knowledge of fire suppression systems, rescue techniques, and emergency response procedures.
• Ability to conduct fire drills, training sessions, and safety awareness programs.
• Physically fit and capable of working in challenging environments.

Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Implement and promote HSE & fire safety programs across shipyard and industrial sites.
• Conduct fire risk assessments, emergency drills, and safety training for employees.
• Respond to fire incidents, emergencies, and hazardous situations efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with fire safety regulations, ISO, HSE, and company policies.
• Inspect and maintain firefighting equipment, alarms, and suppression systems.
• Support incident investigations, report hazards, and recommend corrective actions.
• Work closely with HSE teams, emergency response units, and management to enhance safety culture.
• Provide first aid and emergency response support when required.
