HSE Officer / Controller -JHB

Our client in the Manufacturing sector, based in Centurion, is looking to employ an experienced HSE Officer / Controller.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

• Nebosh / SAMTRAC / Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in relevant field. 
• 7+ years' experience in Construction / Engineering industry. 
• Experience with projects in Africa and willingness to travel.
• HIRA experience. 
• Good understanding of incident investigation. 
• Electrical experience preferred. 
• SACPCMP registered will be an added advantage. 

• Developing and implementing project-specific HSE control measures.
• Conducting regular inspections and audits to monitor project and retail services performance.
• Co-ordinate sub-contractors Safety personnel on project sites.
• Compiling and implementing site specific HSE files for projects and maintain files.
• Ensuring that all tender and proposal documents comply with relevant HSE regulations and standards the project lifecycle.
• Implement and maintain HSE system to ISO standards.
• Providing safety training to workshop and office staff.
• Monitoring and maintaining safety equipment and ensuring that it is in good working condition.
