HVAC Technicians (ACU installations/Ducting)

SUMMARY:
We are seeking dedicated and experienced HVAC Technicians to join our HVAC client in Cape Town

POSITION INFO:
Job Description:

The successful candidates will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, air-conditioning and refrigeration systems.

Responsibilities:

1. Install, maintain, inspect, and repair HVAC systems and their components (e.g. heating units, room ACU, cooling units, refrigeration equipment, etc.).
2. Install and maintain ductwork, pipes, filters, and related items in accordance with the standards of the industry.
3. Test systems for faults, diagnose issues, and conduct repair work efficiently to minimize downtime.
4. Maintain complete and accurate records of assigned tasks and service history of all equipment.
5. Comply with all safety policies and procedures in the maintenance department.
6. Provide consultation on correct maintenance and preventative measures to customers.
7. Prepare and submit activity logs and reports as required by the management.
8. Respond to emergency calls and provide necessary support and solutions.

Requirements:

• At least 2 years' experience as an HVAC technician, and proficient knowledge of ACU installation and ductwork.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Evidence of understanding advanced principles of air conditioning and heating.
• Ability to work flexibly in shifts and weekdays.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong understanding of safety procedures and protocols.
