Our client based in the East London area is currently seeking a half-day Bookkeeper to join their team. The ideal candidate should be self-motivated and someone that works well in a team environment.
Requirements:
- Proven experience or qualification as a bookkeeper / similar role.
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles.
- Proficiency with accounting software (E.g. Pastel, Xero).
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks timeously and effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Preparing quotes & invoices (sales team support)
- Journal entries & reconciliations
- General Administration
