Job Description:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Healthcare Administrator to provide essential support to the Healthcare Account Executive in managing employer group healthcare portfolios. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring smooth operations, maintaining accurate data, and facilitating communication related to healthcare benefits.
Key Responsibilities:

Administrative Support:
- Assist with day-to-day administrative tasks related to employer group portfolios.
- Maintain and update records to ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.

Client Relationship Management:
- Act as the primary point of contact for employer groups and employees, addressing inquiries about healthcare benefits.
- Schedule meetings, wellness events, and presentations.
- Respond to client inquiries in a timely manner and escalate complex issues as necessary.

Policy and Claims Management:
- Assist with the onboarding of new employees onto healthcare plans, including plan selection and registration.
- Track and follow up on claims, amendments, and group healthcare plan updates.
- Ensure timely processing of new applications or any changes to healthcare coverage.

Reporting and Data Management:
- Maintain a well-organised and secure database of client information while adhering to confidentiality protocols.

Collaboration and Coordination:
- Collaborate with insurers, healthcare providers, and other third-party service providers to resolve issues and ensure effective operational processes.
- Support the development and implementation of client-specific healthcare strategies.
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12
- NQF5 qualification and RE5 certification
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare administration within the financial services industry
- Proficient in spoken and written English and at least one other South African official language
- Strong computer literacy (MS Office Suite)
