Purpose l Responsible for building and developing strong client relationships with a variety of clients nationally.
Knowledge, skills and abilities
- Must be FAIS compliant – minimum 120 credits and have passed RE 1 Examination
- Minimum 5 years’ client service experience within Health and Benefits environment
- Must have ability to work as part of a team in an open-plan office
- Must have the ability to work accurately with attention to detail
- Must be a good communicator
- Must have self-organisational skills
- Self-disciplined and deadline focused
- Strong critical thinking and analytical problem-solving skills (peer review)
- Be fluent in English and Afrikaans (other language will be advantageous)
- Enthusiastic, energetic, yet professional
- Must have driver’s license, own vehicle and be willing to travel to see clients (local and provincial)
- Must have MS Office knowledge proficiency
- Provide project feedback to Consulting Leader and/or Client Executive
Key responsibilities
- Regular onsite/virtual client visits to build and maintain relationships with the local and global client, including multinational colleagues
- Provide payroll/HR contact training as and when required
- Assist with billing when and where necessary
- Build and provide quarterly strategic reports to clients, this includes market reviews, subsidy reviews and benchmarking
- Coordinate Wellness days with client and relevant providers
- Drafting and circulation of minutes after HR meetings to HR contact person at company
- Product and procedure training – HR, payroll and members
- Planning and completion of adhoc special projects
- Recording of training attendance registers
- Ensure all compliance and FAIS documentation is completed at clients and one-on-one consultations
- Submit minutes notes to HR after induction/training sessions have taken place to show who attended and if there were any questions/problems areas of concern
- Conducting presentations and one-on-one member consultations
- Manage process efficiently including:
- Training sessions
- One-on-one consultations
- Renewal presentations to local client and multinational stakeholders (client and colleagues)
- Update multinational platforms as required (Trackers,
- option change forms
- Communication and marketing material to client and or HR with regard to training dates and presentations
- Renewal approval from stakeholders (Multinational head office client)
- Adhere to Rules of the Road (RoR)
- Update Statement of Work (SOW) annually
- Distribution of marketing material for staff and client
- Product training and advice to clients when necessary (one-on-one consultations and presentations to groups)
- Basic pre-assessment / underwriting of all new business received
- Email /Admin & query management (*Please refer to note below)
- Manage escalated queries by interacting with medical schemes and gap cover providers on behalf of members and clients, with the transactional team
- Regular and reliable follow up of all queries that arise from one-on-one consultations, via email or via telephone
- Ensure resolution of all problematic client queries
- Manage and effectively use CRM system (Brokertools)
- Ensure all onsite queries are loaded on CRM system
