My Client in the private healthcare industry requires a Hospital Manager for their Durban branch to join the team.
PURPOSE OF POSITION
• The primary purpose of the Hospital Manager will be to provide strong strategic, professional, and managerial leadership for all aspects of health service operations at the relevant Hospital.
• Implementing the operations strategy, monitoring, and managing operational performance, and overseeing the delivery of effective facilities management at the Hospital.
• Authority and accountability for the safe and effective delivery and performance of day-to-day clinical services and departments at the Hospital.
• Development and maintenance of key relationships with the CEO, CFO, and each of the JMH Group Heads, as well external relationships and networks with health service providers external to the Hospital. KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS • They will oversee the efficient and effective running of the Hospital, as well as overseeing progress on various building projects and maintenance department. • Be responsible for on-going marketing of the Hospital, as well as all external contracts - catering, cleaning, and security contracts. • Must deliver uncompromising quality to all customers. Ensure close liaison and effective communication and co-operation with hospital management, staff, and hospital services and users. • Ensuring that the Hospitals are run efficiently and effectively. • Monitoring financial performance against budgets, analysing the Hospitals performance against budgets. • Set budget and departmental goals. • Strategize to improve efficiency and quality of care. • Oversee finances such as patient fees, billing, and collections. • Ensure the facility’s compliance with laws and regulations. • Represent the organization to investors or governing boards. • Oversee work schedules, supplies, and budgets. • Educate the community on important health topics
