SUMMARY:

We are seeking a Hospital Pharmacy Manager for a permanent vacancy based in East London, Eastern Cape

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:

B.Pharm / Dip. Pharm and current registration with the SA Pharmacy Council
5+ years’ experience as a Pharmacist with Hospital Pharmacy Management experience beneficial
Understanding legislation, operating structures and relationships within a hospital environment
Good MS Office skills

The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to:

Effective governance and medication risk management as well as quality management
Ensure compliance with SAPC, DOH and LHLC legal / professional standards
Implementation / compliance with quality management systems and maintain customer service levels
Financial & asset management and achieve hospital budgets
Management of pharmacy cost of sales, implement product conversions & cost efficiency
Enhance cost effective care with optimal patient outcomes
Build working relations with doctors and hospital team
Achieve stock management targets
Recruit, train, motivate and develop pharmacy staff

Salary: Highly negotiable CTC
