Nottingham Road, KZN - Our client is seeking an experienced Hospitality Manager to lead and oversee all aspects of their hospitality operation. This exciting role includes managing accommodation units, the restaurant, reservations, and staff.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the seamless daily operations of the establishment, maintaining exceptional service standards, and delivering memorable guest experiences.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:
Operations Management:

• Oversee the daily operations of the accommodation units, restaurant, and other facilities.
• Monitor and ensure the upkeep and cleanliness of all guest areas.

• Recruit, train, supervise, and manage staff to ensure optimal performance.
• Develop schedules, ensure proper shift coverage, and manage payroll input.

• Ensure guest satisfaction by maintaining high service standards.
• Handle guest feedback, queries, and complaints promptly and professionally.

• Manage bookings, reservations, and online platforms.
• Monitor and optimize occupancy and revenue streams.

• Collaborate with the chef/kitchen staff to ensure menu quality and adherence to operational standards.
• Oversee stock control, food costs, and adherence to hygiene standards.

• Assist with budget preparation and cost management.
• Monitor financial performance, control expenses, and manage procurement.

• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and compliance regulations.
• Maintain relationships with suppliers, contractors, and service providers.

• At least 5 years in hospitality management, preferably in accommodation and restaurant operations.
• Relevant qualification in Hospitality Management or equivalent.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of reservation systems, inventory management, and point-of-sale systems.
• Proficiency in financial acumen and reporting.
• Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
