Position Overview: As a Hostess, you will be responsible for managing the flow of guests, providing exceptional customer service, and creating a welcoming atmosphere. Your main goal is to ensure every guest has a seamless and pleasant dining experience. This is a crucial role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and loves interacting with people.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome guests in a warm, friendly, and professional manner.
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements, balancing table availability with guest requests.
• Escort guests to their tables and provide menus, ensuring they are comfortable and satisfied with their seating.
• Monitor the dining room and communicate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow.
• Manage waitlists during busy periods and keep guests informed of estimated wait times.
• Handle guest inquiries, requests, and concerns efficiently and professionally.
• Assist with phone reservations, special requests, and handling takeaway orders when necessary.
• Keep the front-of-house area clean, organized, and visually appealing.
• Support other front-of-house team members when required, especially during peak hours.

• Previous experience in a hostess or customer service role is a plus, but not required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a positive, friendly demeanor.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle difficult situations with grace.
• Professional appearance and a customer-focused attitude.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Familiarity with reservation systems is a bonus, but training will be provided.
