Responsibilities:
Room Cleaning:
Clean and maintain guest rooms to the highest standards, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing amenities. Reporting and communicating of all maintenance related issues in the bedrooms to ensure we maintain a high standard of cleanliness and maintenance throughout the hotel.
Ensure timely turnover of rooms for arriving guests.
Public Areas:
Clean and maintain cleanliness in public areas such as lobbies, hallways, and recreational spaces.
Pay attention to detail to create a visually appealing and comfortable atmosphere for guests. Reporting and communicating of all maintenance related issues in the public and recreational areas to ensure we maintain a high standard of cleanliness and maintenance throughout the hotel.
Linen and Laundry:
Collect, sort, and move linens to the laundry facility. Assist in the laundering process and ensure the availability of clean and properly folded linens. Stock taking and safeguarding of linens to ensure that we minimise risk and loses.
Guest Requests:
Respond promptly to guest requests for additional amenities, room service, or special cleaning needs. Strive to exceed guest expectations and provide excellent customer service.
Collaboration:
Work closely with other rooms team members to ensure a seamless and efficient operation. Communicate effectively with Guest services staff and other departments to address guest needs.
Safety and Compliance:
Adhere to safety protocols and standards to maintain a safe working environment.
Follow established cleaning procedures and guidelines.
