IMPORT & EXPORT CONTROLLER

Our international automotive client is looking for an experienced Import & Export Controller to join their world-class operation.

Minimum Requirements:

• Certificate in Imports, Exports
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Import & export within the industry
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills
• Strong excel and planning skills
• Excellent time management and planning skills
• Excellent knowledge on Imports and Exports and Customs documentation and procedures.
• Estimates for Export/Imports & cross trade shipments
• Register files and do customs documentation
• Audit & submit the suppliers’ Invoicing and disbursements

Duties / Responsibilities:

• Assisting on customs’ inspections & auditing
• Arrange booking & prepare all Export/Import documentation
• Pre-alerts for all Exports/Imports shipments
• Complete SADC/DA65/SAD500 documents
• Resolve customs queries
• Suppliers’ management skill
• Supply management with updates on shipments
• Updating weekly and daily shipping schedule
• Warehouse management skill (CCA & OS)
• Must have experience in all different modes of transport (Air, Sea, Road, Courier)
• Able to handle files from, start to end including invoices
• Need to know how to process all different certificates on the export
• Need to have Import permit requirement knowledge
• Able to draw out the SOP for different shipment and cases handling
