SUMMARY:
Our client is looking for a dynamic person to resell mild steel and tube. The ideal candidate must be technically minded and a quick learner.

POSITION INFO:

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Grade 12 / equivalent

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS:

3 or more years’ recent experience trading of mild steel or related products would be an advantage.
Computer literate (Syspro would be an advantage).
Able to work from 7.30 to 17:00 Monday to Thursday and Fridays until 16:30.
Reside close to Wynberg / Sandton.
Must be bilingual in English and Afrikaans.
Able to close deals.
Meet and exceed sales targets.
Good telephone and communication skills.
Reliable transport.
A stable work record and have contactable references.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Interact daily with Customers telephonically.
Build and maintain relationships with customers.
Assist Customers with their selections.
Process and follow up on orders.
Increase sales.
Meet and reach sales targets.
Cold call for new business.
