SUMMARY:
Urgently seeking an experienced International Buyer / Stock Controller to join the team.

POSITION INFO:

Buying & Logistics Coordinator - East Rand

REQUIREMENTS:

Strong admin skills
Strong Excel skills (keep multiple spreadsheets)
Control of warehouse stock levels
Local purchasing on warehouse and workshop consumables
International purchasing from various countries
Shipping and forwarding (on international stock purchases)
Adjust international price lists based on exhcange rates and stock pricing
Forecasting supply and demand to prevent overstocking an stock shortages
Tracking shipments and coordinating internal stock usage, as well as resolving delays
Printing stock sheets for daily warehouse count and purchase forecast
Experience in an international purchasing role and a good understanding of foreign currency
A Technical background would be an advantage
Punctual and reliable
Stable
Organised and able to multitask
Attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Understanding of international forwarding (air and sea)
Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines
Problem-solver
Strong, assertive, attention to detail
Strong numerical reasoning (for Forex purposes)
Understanding on international currencies
Work well in a fast paced environment
Own vehicle and Driver''''''''s license
