IT Administrator

SUMMARY:
We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT Administrator to manage day-to-day internal IT operations and provide essential technical support across the dealership. In addition to general IT responsibilities, the successful candidate will also be responsible for running diagnostics on vehicles using manufacturer-specific software, ensuring seamless integration between internal systems and vehicle diagnostic tools.

Key Responsibilities:
Internal IT Support:

• Provide first-line support for all internal computer and network issues.
• Maintain hardware, software, printers, and IT infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to desktops, laptops, and internal applications.
• Ensure data backups are performed regularly and securely stored.
• Liaise with external IT service providers when necessary.
• Monitor and maintain network and system security.

• Operate manufacturer-specific diagnostic software and tools on new vehicles.
• Support the setup, configuration, and troubleshooting of in-vehicle systems.
• Ensure that diagnostic protocols are followed as per technical standards.
• Work closely with the workshop and technical teams to resolve vehicle system errors.
• Stay up-to-date with diagnostic technology updates and training.

• Relevant IT diploma or degree.
• 2+ years experience in an IT support or system administration role.
• Previous exposure to automotive diagnostics is advantageous but not essential (training will be provided).

• Proficient in troubleshooting Windows-based systems and networks.
• Familiarity with diagnostic software or willingness to learn vehicle diagnostic tools.
• Strong understanding of computer hardware and networking fundamentals.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
