IT Manager required for a growing charity based in Glasgow.
They are a charity for a brilliant cause providing free support and information in all their centres across the UK as well as online. They have big ambitions to open more centres within the next few years and with all this growth, all of their IT will be brought in house!
You will work closely with the IT teams across each site and undertake visits in order to ensure that all systems are working and assess any future risks or needs. You will take responsibility of ensuring all users have training on the systems as needed and maintain an inventory of all hardware, software and equipment assets. You will take leadership of developing and implementing policies and procedures across the business and contribute to the management of the external IT provider ensuring these are adhered to. Along with this you will complete documentation for the IT network, keep an overview of all files and contribute technical expertise to the development of the plans for the upcoming years.
You will have the following Skills/Experience -
** Experience within a similar role
** Strong knowledge of databases - Preferably SQL
**Comfortable with both Mac and PC
** Experience working with and managing external providers
** Knowledge of MS Office and similar applications
** Familiar experience with phone systems; VOIP Technologies, UNIX
With you being the IT Manager across all sites, there will be requirements to travel regularly across the UK for visits and some unsociable hours will be necessary. The salary on offer is between £36K-£47K depending on experience, along with a benefits package,
