My client in Lanseria is looking for a strong Network Security Administrator to join thier team

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Duties & Responsibilities

Assist in designing and implement safety measures and data recovery plans and the continuous monitoring of these measures and plans
Install, configure and upgrade security software (e.g. antivirus programs, network monitoring tools)
Secure networks through firewalls, password protection and other systems
Inspect hardware for vulnerable points of access
The securing of software and data of the IT landscape
Monitor network activity to identify issues early and communicate them to IT teams
Act on privacy breaches and malware threats
Assist with drafting of policies and procedures in line with governance and industry standards and the maintaining of these documents.
Creating reports and documentation on Cybersecurity and Network Infrastructure
Assist in project planning and change management within the Cybersecurity and Network Infrastructure
Assist in the design and implementation of various network technologies.
Maintain and manage network infrastructures.
In addition to the primary function of the Cybersecurity and Network Administrator, the employee will be required to cross skill within other Administrator roles within the IT department.
Develop and make thorough recommendations of innovative security controls to protect network assets of the airport
Create and maintain network and cybersecurity policies
Conduct consultations with staff, managers and executives about best security practices and provide other various technical advice as needed.
Develop and maintain network security diagrams and documentation for security systems and procedures

Desired Experience & Qualification

Grade 12
BSc/BA in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field; professional certification (e.g. CompTIA Security+, CISSP) is a plus
4+ years of prior relevant experience
Cisco Certified Network Associate – Security
Cisco Certified Network Associate – Routing and Switching
Microsoft Technology Associate
Mimecast Skills and Experience
Sophos Antivirus and Firewall Experience
Netgear, D-Link, Cisco, and Huawei network equipment experience.
Other Cybersecurity related qualification
Strong IT skills and knowledge, including hardware, software, and networks
Meticulous attention to detail
Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of IT systems
IT Network Security Administrator is required to work set hours weekdays, with rotational standby slots based on administrators’ standby roster.
Must be able to travel after hours if required to be on-site when on standby.
Must have own reliable vehicle
