Duties:
 

• Plan and execute internal audit assignments, including ad-hoc reviews, aligned with internal audit methodologies.
• Perform thorough fieldwork, document findings, and report on risks, compliance gaps, and control evaluations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather audit-relevant information, identify emerging risks, and propose actionable solutions.
• Write comprehensive audit reports and follow up on corrective actions to ensure timely resolution.
• Drive organisational culture by fostering teamwork, leadership, and employee engagement during periods of change.
• Serve as a change ambassador, ensuring consistent communication of new processes and initiatives.

• Matric (Grade 12)
• BCom in Financial Sciences, Internal Audit, or Business Systems, or an equivalent internal audit qualification.
• Recognized industry certifications, such as CISA, CISSP, CISM, ISO/IEC 27001, CEH, CRISC, CCSP, or similar

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years in a senior auditor role.
• Knowledge of frameworks such as COBIT, Prince 2, PMBOK, ITIL, and ISO 27002.
• Familiarity with audit software like BarnOwl (advantageous)

• Strong teamwork, integrity, and customer focus.
• Proficiency in data analysis and identifying trends to inform decision-making.
• Expertise in corporate governance and internal control frameworks.
• Effective risk management and mitigation strategies.
• Exceptional communication and leadership skills to inspire confidence and performance-driven culture.
