IT Service Desk Engineer required to join one of the UK's largest timber companies.
They are a family run company originally from fife and have successfully grown to be one of the largest timber companies in the UK with sites all over. They are continuously expanding and growing through the latest industry technology and are looking for an IT Service Desk Engineer to join their developing team.
You will be the first point of contact providing 1st and 2nd line technical support for all internal staff, managing calls via telephone, email & service desk tickets, troubleshooting of IT problems from in-house software and hardware and taking ownership of user problems. You will manage the service desk ticketing system, escalate unresolved issues to the infrastructure/2nd level support team, and arrange external 3rd line party support where problems cannot be resolved in house.
You will have the following Skills/Experience -
** Experience using and troubleshooting O365
** Basic AD knowledge for user creation/password resets
** Strong knowledge and experience using Microsoft based systems - Windows 10
** Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar environment
** Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently
** Full UK Driving licence
The salary on offer is circa £27K (depending on experience) along with a hybrid work model (at least 3 days a week on site) and a benefits package including - 30 days holiday (including bank holidays), bonus scheme, pension, training budgets, well-being groups and more.
