JOB DESCRIPTION:

We have a vacancy for an IT Support Technician in the Pretoria East area, the successful candidate will be responsible for IT Support for all employees within the company.

 

Requirements:

  • Grade 12
  • N+ and A+ certification
  • 3-4 years working experience
  • Valid drivers license
  • Excellent Afrikaans Communication skills (Written and Verbal)

 

Responsibilities:

  • Timeously basic IT support
  • Basic desktop support to the site, including basic networking, basic site server environment, end-point hardware, printing, Windows, Office Suite, etc.
  • Manage calls logged and resolve within agreed time-frames, escalate if unable to resolve
  • Maintain and update asset registers
  • Enforce IT policies and procedures within the area of responsibility
  • Proactive IT risk identification and mitigation within IT standards and procedures
  • Prepare and submit progress reports monthly
  • Effective self-management
