POSITION INFO:

Intro:

As an IT Technician, you will be the first point of contact for technical support, responsible for managing networked computers, hardware, LAN, low-level server support, software, and printer environments. You will troubleshoot and resolve IT issues, ensuring seamless operations for our users.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide first-line support for networked computers and manage related hardware.
• Handle LAN and low-level server support.
• Offer software support for various applications and systems.
• Maintain and manage the printer environment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues as they arise.
• Communicate technical information effectively to non-technical users.

Skills & Experience Requirements:

• Matric
• A+ Certification
• N+ Certification
• Minimum of 1-2 years of working experience in a similar IT environment.
• Working knowledge of networks and network topologies.
• Hands-on experience and a willingness to learn.
• Proven ability to solve problems effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft 365 packages.
• Ability to work independently and follow established procedures.
• Must have own transport and a valid driver’s license.
• Experience with remote monitoring tools and remote support tools.
• Knowledge of VOIP systems is advantageous.
• Experience with hardware and software installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Experience with network security and firewalls is a plus.
