SUMMARY:
Purpose of the position: To manage import from Europe and exports to Africa and Assist with Stock Management

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Import/Export & Admin Administrator (open to all races and gender)

Area: Roodepoort, Gauteng

Salary Package: R16000 to R20000 p/m depending on experience and qualifications

Purpose of the position: To manage import from Europe and exports to Africa and Assist with Stock Management

Duties:

  • Assisting with answering of the telephone (daily),
  • Follow-up local outstanding purchase orders with vendors (daily),
  • Stock transfer on Navision between branches (weekly),
  • Assisting with updating of contract pricing on Navision (when required),
  • Assisting with goods receiving and despatch of stock (daily),
  • Goods receiving of stock into Navision (daily),
  • Assisting with general filling in stores department (weekly),
  • Assisting with issue of PPE clothing to staff (daily).
  • Importing from Europe and exporting to the African countries
  • Record documentation with high accuracy and precision and is responsible to ensure goods clear customs
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to accomplish his work
  • Prepare documents regarding content sensitive documents such as LC shipments
  • Print, scan, load data onto the server, creating hard copy files and labelling
  • Reconcile account for exports to bill of lading and sales order for the factory
  • Manage internal purchasing including the backup for sales and factory
  • Ensure compliance with finance department requirements
  • Manage own export and intercompany JHB print and prepare documents as well as SADC certificates
  • Assist the export department for African sales orders

Requirements

a)                   Matric

b)                  Import/export qualification will be advantageous

c)                   Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience

d)                  Previous experience in an administrative role

e)                  Computer Literate Microsoft Office, Excel and Syspro and Navision

f)                    Previous experience with exports, invoicing, procurement portal provider

g)                   Preferably bi-lingual

h)                  Good communication skills

i)                    Clear criminal record
