SUMMARY:
Inbound Logistics Assistant
NB:Afrikaans speaking preferably

Matric
Certificate, Diploma or Degree in Transportation, Logistics or Supply Chain
Experience: (5 – 10 years)
Must be proficient in Excel
Strong administrative background
Candidate must be a mature Female
Must be proficient in Excel
Strong administrative background
Coordination of inbound consignments from offshore and local suppliers
Control of operational aspects of inbound logistics management
Administration and clerical duties relating to inbound logistics management (narrowly) and procurement (broadly)
Documentation and data control for the Inbound Logistics (IL) department
Document vetting and data capturing for the Inbound Logistics department
Administrative support functions for the Supply Chain Officer and the Administration Executive
Liaising with stakeholders of the Inbound Logistics, Procurement and Supply Chain processes of the company’ Group-level structure:
In-house Merchandisers & Planners,
Distribution Centre (DC) staff,
Finance department,
Management, Executives and CEO (if and when need be), and
External parties i.e. Suppliers, Factories, Freight Agents, Customs Authorities, Attorneys,

Skills:

Freight knowledge and work history background in the freight field,
Microsoft Office Suite (Excel most extensively; Strong in Excel formula),
Detail focused – excellent attention to detail,
Pedantic and Orderly working methods,
Strong English (Verbal & Written) and Math competency,
Sync and Pastel will be advantageous
