Inbound Warehouse Supervisor

POSITION INFO:

Role: Inbound Warehouse Supervisor

Location: Nasrec - Johannesburg

Start Date: Immediate


Position Specifications: 

• Must have Grade 12, Matric or NQF4 equivalent qualification. 
• A completed Tertiary degree/diploma in Logistics.
• Experience of SAGE Evolution is advantageous.
• At least intermediate knowledge of excel.
• At least 3 years' experience in a warehousing environment within an FMCG industry.
• Medium/Large business warehousing experience.
• Must have a clear criminal record

• Product/Packaging specifications are monitored

• Personnel management
• Cost containment

• Timeous planning on warehouse space and resources. 
• Assisting warehouse manager in planning, coordinating, monitoring and managing the movement of all incoming/outgoing goods.
• Assist warehouse manager in developing a tracking system for the management of receipts and despatches.
• Stock Rotation
• Ensure stock audits are completed as required by the inventory controller and work closely with all departments to ensure everyone is aware of the stock availability.
• Customer Liaison
• Effectively communicate with both internal and external customers to inform them of what the status of their goods are.
• Continually maximize space utilization through effective stock rotation and meet targets are set by warehouse manager.
• SHEQ
• Always maintaining SHEQ standards and record keeping, inspection checklists, toolbox training, correct PPE and warehouse inductions as necessary.
• Work closely with the SHEQ assistant to ensure all processes and procedures are accurately followed.
• Reporting
• Send monthly reports to warehouse manager including forecasts, budgeting and trends for the month ahead.
• Ensure Supplier Pallet are well managed and returns are executed daily.
