Luxury DMC is looking for an INBOUND TOUR CONSULTANT
POSITION INFO:
Candidate Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of proven experience as a luxury inbound travel consultant
- Must have proficiency in Tourplan
- Knowledge of luxury travel destinations, accommodations, and experiences in Southern and/or East Africa
- Planning, quoting, and designing journeys throughout Southern and East Africa timeously and accurately
- Managing all aspects of tours from quoting through to post-tour file closure
- Ensuring your in-country guest tours run smoothly and without error
- Being on call for your in-country guests after hours while they are traveling
- Tour administration to be maintained and accurate
- Booking all services for your tours
- Coordinating all invoicing/payments for your tours with accounts
- Reconfirmation of all services before travel
- Preparation of Travel documents
- Ability to handle high volumes of work without compromising on accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal command of the English language
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with high-profile clients & agents
- Crisis management and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team and independently
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Working with a sense of urgency and meeting deadlines
