Industrial Electrician / Team Leader - Parow - Cape Town

POSITION INFO:

CK Africa Talent is recruiting for a skilled Industrial Electrician/Team Leader to join a dynamic company based in Parow Industria, Cape Town. This is an exciting opportunity for professionals looking to take their career to the next level!

Key Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, and repair electrical equipment, including control panels, motors, and machinery.
Diagnose and replace faulty electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic components.
Oversee and manage the electrical team’s daily operations, ensuring safety and efficiency.
Provide training and mentorship to junior technicians and apprentices.
Handle emergency call-outs and breakdowns, minimizing downtime.
Travel occasionally to support customer needs and service requirements.
Continue professional development in PLC programming, panel building, and refrigeration.

Requirements:

Relevant electrical qualification (Trade Tested, N5, N6).
5+ years of industrial electrical maintenance experience.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex problems.
Strong knowledge of electrical safety codes and regulations.
Willingness to travel and work overtime/rotational shifts as needed.
