SUMMARY:
Junior role for a qualified Industrial Engineer to start your career with this dynamic manufacturing company.

POSITION INFO:

Are you ready to join a dynamic organisation where growth and development are offered? As the Leader you will plan, lead, organise, control and motivate the Production Team. Ensure team members are trained in and adhere to all standard operating procedures and Health and Safety standards. This is a factory space, that is a 3rd party manufacturer producing products for high-end retail outlets. Based in Northern Suburbs of Cape Town.

Requirements:

Matric with Industrial Engineering qualification OR Production Management qualification
Fully bilingual in both Afrikaans and English
Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
Ability to work in a team
Strong administration skills with an eye for detail
Highly organised

Duties:

Duties will be discussed in detail during the screening interview.

Planning - daily, monthly production planning.
Daily meetings with the Production Team ensuring up to date knowledge of Daily and Monthly Plan and Progress of all jobs in the factory
Resolving of all queries, concerns or questions daily
Ensure that all the necessary staff are available to carry out the work plan
Ensure that the correct number of staff are trained on production machinery and equipment
Ensure that all machines and equipment used in the filing and packing process are in good order and are cleaned and sanitized correctly
Follow Line Opening Procedure and Quality controls
Meet daily deadlines
Ensure positive and consistent discipline in the team
Motivate staff to continuously improve
Ensure that all team members are aware of and have access to company policies
Ensure that staff are trained on relevant standard operating procedures and Work instructions for their role on the production line
Ensure adherence to SOPs: Work instructions and Protocols related to the Production Line
Train staff on the applicable Health, Safety and Environment policies and procedures of the company and Production Line
Ensure adherence to the applicable Health, Safety and Environment policies and procedures of the company and Production Line
Ensure that all Job Document Packets are Delivered to Finance
