Information Security Analyst required for a global organisation based in Edinburgh.
They are one of the world's leading companies supplying hardware and software and providing well-known names with high-performance and low-power products. With the entire world being so digital now, it's no surprise at how rapidly they are growing! They are continuously keeping up to date with modern technology and bringing on new clients, so they need to ensure all data is secure safely and sufficiently.
You will join a small team of engineers to identify vulnerabilities, complete risk assessments and evaluate the businesses systems. You will monitor and report general compliance to policies and procedures along with cybersecurity frameworks and provide consulting and support on all projects. You will assist in the development of knowledge within the security team, ensuring all members have the correct skills to carry out duties successfully and detect and report on any cyber threats and incidents.
You will have the following skills/experience -
** Demonstrable experience within a similar role
** Bachelor's Degree in Cyber Security, Computer Engineering, IT (or related)
** Strong experience responding to security alerts and resolving the incidents
** Demonstrable experience working close with stakeholders
** Experience and knowledge of Cybersecurity Frameworks is desirable but not essential; NIST CSF, ISO 28000
** Experience performing security reviews an compliance assessments would be beneficial
