Information Security Analyst required to join our client in Glasgow as they continue to enhance their Information Security landscape. You will be joining one of Glasgow's most notable organisations and will be instrumental in developing their Information Security policies and procedures.
They are one of Scotland's most successful companies, growing rapidly and need a motivated Information Security Analyst to join their team. They are a fast moving, heavily invested in new technology and are consistently coming up with new projects for you to get involved in.
You will join a small team, supporting small projects and making improvements across all the technology. You will work closely with other teams throughout the business providing information security awareness training, risk management assurance, threat monitoring, enforcing company policy and standards development and perform privacy impact assessments. You will be passionate, self-driven Security Analyst who is looking to get very hands on with different projects and learning new tech.
Key Responsibilities:
** Encourage the adoption of standard practices and procedures
** Continuously assess IT security risk and threats
** Responsible for security auditing, internally and externally, reporting on threat assessment
** Identify current and future internal and external security vulnerabilities and identify the best ways to reduce information security risks.
You will have -
** Good knowledge of firewalls, network monitoring, SIEM, IDS/IPS
** Experience in writing risk assessments, policies, and procedures
** Experience and knowledge in security-based projects
** Knowledge of Data loss Protection - GDPR
** Degree level education or job-related experience
**CompTIA+ (or similar)
**Good understanding of security standards and frameworks - ISO 270001, NIST CSF, CE+
