Infrastructure Manager required to join one of the largest retailers in the UK.

They are going through a period of digital transformation with huge investment into their ecommerce capabilities and technology playing a key part in their ongoing success. They have made some key senior hires who are committed to improving their digital landscape and you will have the opportunity to contribute and shape the platforms of a hugely ambitious organisation.
We are looking for you to provide leadership/management to the infrastructure team and to drive technology solutions/bring new ideas to the table in terms of technical direction. You will have responsibility to deliver a large-scale infrastructure program whilst developing roadmaps in order to meet my client's current, future IT, and business needs. As such will have a strong Infrastructure background and solid experience in delivering Infrastructure solutions across large scale/ complex environments.
You will have the following Skills/Experience
** In-depth knowledge of multiple infrastructure platforms - Networks, Desktop, Server
** Management of IT Infrastructure staff in their daily activities
** Manage the day-to-day operations of the IT environment including downtime, reporting service levels, defining and tracking IT operational metrics
** Strong budgeting experience - management of annual infrastructure capital budget
** Strong stakeholder management
** Not essential but desirable to have Azure or AWS experience to aid in future direction of a multi-hybrid platform
The role is primarily office based (45 minutes from Liverpool City centre) however there is some flexibility around home working which can be discussed with your manager. They have a competitive salary coupled with a strong benefits package.
