POSITION INFO:
We are looking for a diligent and detail-oriented Insurance Administrator to join a company in George.

The role involves managing insurance policies, processing claims, and providing excellent administrative support to ensure smooth operations within the insurance department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Policy Administration: Handle policy documentation, updates, renewals, and cancellations in accordance with company and regulatory guidelines.
• Claims Processing: Assist in the submission and tracking of insurance claims, ensuring all necessary documentation is complete and accurate.
• Customer Support: Respond to customer inquiries related to policies, premiums, and claims. Provide exceptional customer service and follow up on unresolved issues.
• Database Management: Maintain accurate records of all policies, claims, and related information in the company’s insurance system.
• Compliance: Ensure all processes comply with insurance regulations and company policies.
• Payment Processing: Assist with invoicing, premium collections, and payment reconciliations.
• Reporting: Prepare regular reports for management on claims status, policy updates, and customer queries.
• General Administration: Support the department with general administrative tasks such as filing, correspondence, and scheduling.

Key Requirements:

• Experience: Previous experience in insurance administration or a related field is advantageous.

• Skills:
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.) and familiarity with insurance software.

• Education: A high school diploma or equivalent; a relevant qualification in insurance or administration is beneficial.
