Intermediate Site-Based Quantity Surveyor - CCS experience essential
POSITION INFO:
We are seeking an Intermediate Site-Based Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team working on large-scale Commercial Building Projects throughout the Cape Town area.
Minimum Requirements:
- Qualifications: B.Tech or B.Sc in Quantity Surveying or equivalent diploma.
- Experience: At least 8–10 years of experience working with reputable Building Contractors.
- Proven track record in managing Residential and Commercial Building Projects.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in CCS (Candy Construction Software) is essential.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts, cost estimation, and project management.
- Ability to work effectively on-site and liaise with project stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform accurate cost planning, budgeting, and cost control throughout project lifecycles.
- Manage and prepare payment certificates, valuations, and final accounts.
- Evaluate and negotiate subcontractor agreements and variations.
- Monitor project progress, ensuring cost efficiency and adherence to budgets.
- Collaborate closely with the project team, including contractors and consultants.
