Internal IT Auditor

SUMMARY:
Have you completed OR are in the process of completing your CIA or CISA qualification, have about 4 years of Internal Audit, and a flair for IT systems, applications and infrastructure? Then we’re looking for you!

POSITION INFO:
The successful candidate will work alongside the Internal Audit Manager to test controls for compliance and report findings to the relevant stakeholders. If you are an innovative individual with excellent communication capabilities and are committed to the code of ethics that governs auditors, then you are encouraged to apply.

Duties:

• Internal and IT audits to ensure financial operational and compliance objectives.
• Planning and supporting reporting processes.
• Pre -and post-review implementation.
• Gap/internal IT control analysis and risk mitigation.
• ITGC’s, computer controls and cybersecurity.
• General internal audit reviews (from start to finish).
• Continuous auditing (CAATS), data analytics and providing assurance.
• Remediation and follow-up of identified issues.
• Policy and procedure maintenance and reviews to ensure best practices.
• Stakeholder engagement and management.

• BCom Accounting/Internal Audit/IT
• Honours Degree – advantageous
• CIA/CISA – in progress

• 4 years Internal and IT audit experience
