Internal Sale Representative

POSITION INFO:

Job description, not limited to:

SALES AND REVENUE GROWTH:

• Meet or exceed sales targets and quotas
• Identify and pursue new sales opportunities
• Upsell and cross-sell products or services

CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers
• Provide excellent customer service and support
• Resolve customer complaints and issues

PROSPECTING AND LEAD GENERATION:

• Research and identify potential customers (and potentially visit)
• Generate leads through cold calling, emailing, or networking
• Qualify leads and convert them into sales opportunities

PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE:

• Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge (sufficient technical and application knowledge) of products or services
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments (market research)

COMMUNICATION AND NEGOTIATION:

• Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and management
• Assist with phone calls from different regions when branches are busy
• NB:   Where a query extends beyond your expertise, gain as much information as possible about the client’s situation and escalate to a senior sales engineer.
• Negotiate prices, terms, and conditions to close sales
• Assist walk-in customers with product queries and purchases

SALES ADMINISTRATION:

• Maintain accurate records
• Process sales orders and handle administrative tasks

COLLABORATION AND TEAMWORK:

• Work with all sales teams, marketing, and other departments to achieve sales goals
• Share knowledge, best practices, and sales strategies with colleagues

CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT:

• Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and sales techniques

QUOTATION AND ORDER MANAGEMENT:

• Prepare and send quotations to customers
• All quotes to be completed by or before 9am the following morning
• Regularly follow-up on quotations sent out and document feedback
• Manage orders, including processing, tracking, and fulfilment (keeping the customer up to date of progress)

Min Requirements:

• Matric Certificate or equivalent
• Must Have a technical qualification
• Sales Related Background, min 2 years’ experience
• Excel & MS Word
• Bilingual
