Internal Sale Representative
POSITION INFO:
Our Client in Edenvale has an Internal Sales vacancy available.
Job description, not limited to:
SALES AND REVENUE GROWTH:
- Meet or exceed sales targets and quotas
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities
- Upsell and cross-sell products or services
CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers
- Provide excellent customer service and support
- Resolve customer complaints and issues
PROSPECTING AND LEAD GENERATION:
- Research and identify potential customers (and potentially visit)
- Generate leads through cold calling, emailing, or networking
- Qualify leads and convert them into sales opportunities
PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE:
- Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge (sufficient technical and application knowledge) of products or services
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments (market research)
COMMUNICATION AND NEGOTIATION:
- Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and management
- Assist with phone calls from different regions when branches are busy
- NB: Where a query extends beyond your expertise, gain as much information as possible about the client’s situation and escalate to a senior sales engineer.
- Negotiate prices, terms, and conditions to close sales
- Assist walk-in customers with product queries and purchases
SALES ADMINISTRATION:
- Maintain accurate records
- Process sales orders and handle administrative tasks
COLLABORATION AND TEAMWORK:
- Work with all sales teams, marketing, and other departments to achieve sales goals
- Share knowledge, best practices, and sales strategies with colleagues
CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT:
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and sales techniques
QUOTATION AND ORDER MANAGEMENT:
- Prepare and send quotations to customers
- All quotes to be completed by or before 9am the following morning
- Regularly follow-up on quotations sent out and document feedback
- Manage orders, including processing, tracking, and fulfilment (keeping the customer up to date of progress)
Min Requirements:
- Matric Certificate or equivalent
- Must Have a technical qualification
- Sales Related Background, min 2 years’ experience
- Excel & MS Word
- Bilingual
