POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

• Sales & Upselling:
  
  • Follow the sales strategy to identify opportunities for upselling within existing clients and increase sales order values.
  • Analyze client purchasing trends and proactively reach out to clients who may have reduced orders to reignite sales.
  • Maximize exposure to clients and explore new product opportunities to increase the product range per client.
• Business Intelligence (BI) Reporting:
  
  • Analyze sales data and compare previous sales to current performance for all clients.
  • Complete weekly BI reporting for discussion during sales meetings, identifying areas for growth and improvement.
• General Reporting & Client Interaction:
  
  • Generate accurate costing sheets for pricing and client-specific needs, ensuring alignment with both local and import costings.
  • Prepare reports on sales activities, stock dispatch accuracy, and client satisfaction for review by the sales manager.
  • Provide feedback on upselling results and client engagement efforts, highlighting successes and areas for improvement.
• Operational Duties:
  
  • Spot-check orders ready for dispatch to ensure accuracy with pro-forma invoices.
  • Conduct weekly vehicle inspections to ensure proper maintenance, coordinate vehicle services and repairs.
  • Coordinate national freight bookings, ensuring correct freight charges and timely delivery of stock to clients.
  • Open and manage COD customer accounts, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting.
