SUMMARY:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Internal Sales Assistant to join our dynamic sales team. The ideal candidate will support the Business Development Executive (BDE) in
driving sales growth within the designated territory. This role involves nurturing existing customer
relationships, generating new leads, and ensuring seamless sales operations.

POSITION INFO:
Responsibilities:

Sales Support: Assist the BDE in achieving sales targets and increasing revenue.
Lead Generation: Develop new leads through prospecting, cold calling, and networking.
Lead Qualification: Qualify inbound marketing leads (MQL) and sales leads (SQL).
CRM Management: Update and maintain customer records and sales opportunities in the CRM system.
Customer Interaction: Handle inbound customer calls and email inquiries, providing excellent customer service.
Sales Documentation: Create sales quotes, payment notices, and other sales-related documents.
Collaboration: Work closely with the Accounts Department and Technical Teams for post-sales delivery and implementations.
Market Research: Conduct territory research and market segmentation to identify potential and existing customers.
Campaign Support: Align with and support marketing and sales plans by executing marketing and sales campaigns.
Product Knowledge: Participate in eLearning and group coaching sessions to improve product knowledge.
Follow-Up: Follow up on outstanding documentation or payments for orders received or
delivered.
Meeting Coordination: Set up meeting appointments for the BDE with prospective
customers.
Demo Preparation: Coordinate with the Technical Team on demo preparations and
technical meetings.
Administrative Duties: Perform general administrative duties as required.

Position Requirements:

Matric with standard mathematics.
Sales-related qualification advantageous.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a manufacturing/engineering environment.
Experience in cold calling and lead generation.
Proficiency in customer service and sales support.
Prior sales knowledge advantageous, preferably in the manufacturing/engineering sector.
