SUMMARY:
Internal Sales Clerk - Engineering /Mining

Area: Boksburg

POSITION INFO:
Essential Experience:

Minimum 2 years in internal sales, preferably in Engineering / Mining Industry
SAGE Software is beneficial
Fast Pace Environment background

Key Responsibilities:

Handle inbound sales calls, emails, and walk-in customer inquiries.
Provide accurate information about products, pricing, and availability.
Generate quotations and sales orders.
Process customer orders and coordinate with logistics/warehouse to ensure timely delivery.
Maintain and update customer records in the sales system.
Follow up on outstanding quotations and ensure a high conversion rate.
Support external sales representatives with administrative tasks.
Monitor stock levels and liaise with the procurement team on backorders.
Assist in resolving customer complaints or issues promptly.
Prepare and send out invoices, delivery notes, and other sales-related documentation.

Key Requirements:

Education: Grade 12 / Matric certificate (required). Post-matric qualification in sales or business administration is advantageous.
Skills and Competencies:

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
Customer-focused with a friendly and professional demeanor.
Good problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach.
Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
