SUMMARY:
Job Title: Internal Sales and Production Coordinator

Remuneration: R25 000 - R30 000

Our client, a promotional products supplier, is looking to employ an Internal Sales and Production Coordinator to join their team in Centurion.

Our client is looking for someone with 5+ years proven experience in production management role, and 10+ years industry experience in design, production, print, corporate gifting and packaging environments.

The Internal Sales and Production Coordinator is responsible for overseeing all aspects of production on account portfolio, from initial concept to final delivery. The candidate will work closely with the Design, Client Services and Logistics teams to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:
Production Planning and Scheduling:

• Develop and maintain detailed production schedules
• Allocate resources effectively to ensure timely delivery
• Prioritize tasks and manage workloads

• Implement and maintain quality control standards
• Conduct regular quality checks to ensure products meet specifications
• Identify and resolve quality issues promptly

• Source and manage suppliers to ensure cost-effective and timely delivery
• Negotiate contracts and maintain strong supplier relationships

• Budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting (project basis)
• Monitor production costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction

• Communicate effectively with client service leads/ project managers to provide updates and address concerns
• Manage client/ client service lead/ project managers’ expectations and ensure satisfaction

• Effective integration with Design, Client Service/ Project Management and Logistics teams

• Sourcing products to suit client needs
• Project scoping and quote generation
• Supplier relationship management

• Measuring physical stock items for artwork scaling
• Checking and approving supplier artwork
• Logistics coordination and tracking of orders
• Problem-solving and issue resolution
• Quality control of finished products
• Updating supplier price lists
• Proof sign-offs
• Ensuring timely communication with client service team
• Deadline tracking and management

POSITION INFO:
Required qualification and working knowledge:

• 5+ years proven experience in production management role
• 10+ years industry experience in design, production, print, corporate gifting and packaging environments
• Track record of Supply Chain Management experience
• Valid drivers license and own vehicle
