Overview

As a Finance Clerk Intern, you will play a crucial role in supporting financial operations within our organization. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in finance, accounting, and administrative tasks. Below are the key responsibilities and qualifications for this role:

Duties & Responsibilities

Filing and Records Management:

Assist in organizing and maintaining financial records, including invoices, receipts, and other relevant documents.

Ensure proper filing systems are in place for easy retrieval and compliance with retention policies.

Purchase Order (PO) Processing:

Learn to capture and process purchase orders accurately.

Verify PO details, match them with invoices, and reconcile any discrepancies.

Assisting with Audits:

Collaborate with the finance team during internal or external audits.

Provide necessary documentation and explanations related to financial transactions.

Data Entry and Reporting:

Gain experience in entering financial data into relevant accounting software

Assist in producing report.

Various Adhoc tasks

Qualifications

Education:

Diploma Financial Accounting or similar

Skills and Attributes:

Attention to detail and accuracy.

Basic knowledge of bookkeeping principles.

Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Reliable and eager to learn.

Ability to solve problems and work well in a team.
