SUMMARY:
A very successful retail company is seeking to hire an Inventory Accountant who will take ownership of the full inventory and management accounting function for all branches.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Qualifications:

  • Studying towards a CIMA qualification   

Skills:

  • Excel Advanced
  • SAP / Syspro / Oracle
  • Extensive stock control and inventory on a large scale of volume 

Job description:

  • Full responsibility for inventory management within and for the Group
  • Review and propose adjustments on inventory after investigations of variances
  • Assist with cash-up audits
  • Follow up on claims and rebates, margin recovery and deal with suppliers
  • Implement internal controls
  • Costing recipes and waste control implementation on ERP system
