Inventory Controller

SUMMARY:
We are recruiting for an Inventory Controller, for my client in the Automotive Industry, the role is to efficiently manage inventory levels, ensuring accurate stock records, timely replenishment, and optimal storage to support smooth operations and meet business demands.

Qualifications and Experience required:

• Diploma/bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field (preferred).
• Inventory Management: At least 2-3 years of experience in inventory control or warehouse management.
• ERP Systems: Proficiency with inventory management and ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
• Warehouse Operations: Experience with warehouse operations, stock replenishment, and order fulfillment.
• Data Analysis: Experience with inventory reporting, data analysis, and trend forecasting.
• Team Collaboration: Experience working in cross-functional teams, coordinating with suppliers, and internal departments.
• Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with inventory regulations and best practices in stock management.

Responsibilities:

• Inventory Tracking: Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, movements, and transactions.
• Stock Replenishment: Monitor stock levels and order materials or products as needed to avoid shortages.
• Stock Audits: Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies between physical stock and system records.
• Warehouse Organization: Ensure inventory is stored efficiently, properly labeled, and easy to access.
• Supplier Coordination: Work with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
• Problem Resolution: Address inventory discrepancies, damages, or shortages promptly.
• Reporting: Generate regular inventory reports, track trends, and analyze data to forecast future inventory needs.
• Compliance: Ensure all inventory management practices comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Team Collaboration: Coordinate with other departments (e.g., procurement, production, sales) to align inventory with business needs.
• Equipment Maintenance: Ensure proper functioning and maintenance of inventory management tools and machinery.
