Inventory Controller

SUMMARY:
A dynamic organization based in Westmead, Pinetown is looking to employ an Inventory Controller with 3 – 5 years’ experience in a similar role

POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements

• Matric
• Valid Driver’s License
• Own Vehicle and must live in a reasonable distance
• 3 – 5 years’ experience in a similar role  
• MS Office & In house system
• Receiving of goods from the supplier and inter warehouse transfer verifications
• Adherence to storage in designated bays
• Cycle counts, picking slip issuing to staging areas and return of surplus material checks conducted
• General stores and yard housekeeping
• Reporting of stock discrepancies, irregularities in quality of goods received and overall communication with relevant personnel
• Maintain stores and control inventory
• Receiving all stock and movement of goods
• Extensive controls to minimize variances and losses.
• Accountability of all inventories within stores
