Inventory Coordinator

They are based in Ottery and require a highly organized, detail-oriented individual who works well under pressure.

POSITION INFO:
REQUIREMENTS

• Matric, relevant qualification advantageous
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a purchasing and production management role
• Understanding of procurement and production processes
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills
• Ability to multitask, prioritize and meet tight deadlines
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Experience in the manufacturing industry is preferred

• Source and negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive prices and high-quality materials
• Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure adequate supply for production needs
• Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and operations, to forecast demand and plan production accordingly
• Oversee the entire supply chain process from purchasing to delivery, ensuring timely and efficient production schedules
• Conduct regular supplier evaluations and take corrective actions when necessary
• Manage production costs and identify areas for cost reduction and process improvement
• Lead and train the production teams to ensure efficient and effective operations
• Monitor and ensure compliance with company and industry regulations and standards
• Inputting data into our Inventory Management system and ensuring correct processing of inventory
• This function will be primarily work in an office setting and will be required to get involved in the factory from time to time
