SUMMARY:
Signa Opportunity is recruiting unemployed youth for quality workplace experience through the Youth Employment Service (YES) initiative.
About the YES Initiative
The President launched the initiative in 2018 and is a partnership with the government and labor department to collectively devise a national plan to build economic pathways for South Africa’s youth by creating workplace opportunities for South African youth over a period of 12 months.

Position: Investment Administrator

Stipend: R5500,00

Location : Cape Town and Johannesburg

POSITION INFO:
The YES candidate will report to the Head of Operations . The candidate will work closely with the rest of the team, including the investment team.
This is a small team which typically consists of around 8 investment and 2-3 administration and
operational support staff.
The primary focuses of this role will be investment administration and operational support.
However, given the size and composition of the team, this role will include other ad hoc
responsibilities. The appropriate candidate will, therefore, have the opportunity to gain exposure to
many different aspects of the business.
The role is heavily reliant on Excel to assist with the relevant tasks.

Education and Experience:
An undergraduate degree or similar preferably with subjects exposure to
o Data science
o Information technology
o Coding
o Accounting
o Finance
Skills and Knowledge:
The ideal candidate has strong technical aptitude and the ability to learn new computer languages
and Microsoft Office applications.

Microsoft Office including Excel VBA – especially Excel
Ability to communicate to service providers, colleagues and clients
