SUMMARY:
Client centric investment management team seeks an Investment Administrator to join their team.

POSITION INFO:

Client centric investment management team seeks an Investment Administrator to join their team. Role is suitable to an accounting graduate or a junior investment administrator. This is a stable and experienced team based in the Southern Suburbs, Cape Town.

Responsibilities: 

• Put together and review offshore instructions (investments, redemptions, payments, switch)  check accuracy and prepare for processing 
• Monitor Investment transactions, purchase of foreign currency, transfer funds to and from foreign bank accounts
• Prepare transactions for processing into client account system (Fundamental)
• Process transactions in client account system (Fundamental)
• Process broker changes and stock transfers
• Manage cash and document compliance for offshore movements
• Review bank statements, and contract notes, ensure it is complete and accurate 
• Liaise with 3rd party and statutory bodies regarding queries 
• Maintain contact details and instruction forms for all 3rd party's (ManCo's and Platforms)
• Liaise with internal and external clients, and supporting departments
• Liaise with clients - respond and attend to queries, provide feedback where needed

Requirements: 

• Minimum of a completed B Com Accounting or similar qualification
• Computer literate with intermediate MS Excel skills
• Previous experience in similar role, with proven track record ideal
• Accurate and deadline driven 
• Ability to work extra hours when needed
