JUNIOR IT TECHNICIAN (DURBANVILLE, CAPE TOWN)

SUMMARY:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Junior IT Technician. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive IT support, ensuring the seamless setup and maintenance of workstations, systems, and software for all employees.

POSITION INFO:
Educational Background:

• Relevant IT certification or diploma (e.g., A+, N+, or equivalent).

• Proficiency in setting up and managing Active Directory.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 Admin Centre, including user setup and license management.
• Knowledge of BitLocker encryption and IT security best practices.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve software, hardware, and network issues effectively.
• Familiarity with managing IT asset registers and software licensing.
• Basic understanding of biometric systems and hardware setup (e.g., monitors, cables, peripherals).

• Familiarity with industry-specific software (preferable in accounting/audit).
• Basic understanding of cloud servers and server room maintenance.

• Minimum 1-2 years in an IT support or technician role.
• Hands-on experience in workstation setups, hardware upgrades, and software installations.
