JUNIOR QUANTITY ESTIMATOR /SURVEYOR

Building and construction industry.

General Plant Maintenance,  Construction and civil work,  Core drilling,  Sandblasting and painting,  Engineering and Fabrication,  Painting,  Plumbing,  Industrial Projects.

POSITION INFO:
Role:  JUNIOR QUANTITY ESTIMATOR /SURVEYOR
Location: Richards Bay - KZN

Minimum Requirements and Skills:

• Grade 12
• Proven experience between 3-5 years
• Qualification in Quantity Surveying
• Computer literate ( MS Excel/ word  /Outlook/MS Projects )
• Well-developed English language skills ( speak, read and write )
• Pro-activity
• Confidence and decisiveness
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Driver’s license

• Prepare and Analyze costing for tenders, Negotiating to ensure budgets are not exceeded.
• Ability to read building plans and drawings
• Pricing of all BOQ’S
• Compilation and monitoring of project allowances
• Measuring on site
• Preparation and submission of tender documents and quotes
• Attend site meetings and liaising with end users
• Planning and organizing
• Presenting and communicating information
